After passing through the Andalusian Theater Center where he trained as an actor, he studied film directing at ESCAC and scriptwriting at ECAM, as well as traveling and studying at the San Antonio de los Baños School (Cuba). In 2003 he founded La Tapia, a production company with which he has released his short films since Preludio (2004), ¡Al cielo con ella! (2010), Grietas comunes (2014) or A naide (2015), for which he receives numerous awards, including the RTVA Award or the Best Screenplay Award (Fondo Formación Europeo), which allows him to make his first feature film, Jaulas, premiered at Seminci. In addition, he has operated as an author and theater director on the independent and off scene in Seville and Madrid.
